Billy Beane conveys his innovative, winning style of management and leadership, which involves utilizing analytics to identify undervalued assets to create and sustain a competitive advantage.

By striking parallels between baseball and business, Beane inspires audiences across industries with his unforgettable winning underdog story.

Great Resignation: Utilizing Data to Attract, Hire and Retain Your Most Valuable Asset

The war for talent is escalating. Some are ill-prepared to handle the challenges of an increasingly complex labor market, shackled by the “we've always done it this way” mentality. Others are thriving, armed with analytical insights and surrounded by allies, allowing them to snap up and retain highly performing impact players and supercharge their growth. What kind of an organization are you? More importantly, what kind do you want to be in the future?

Leveraging Your Data to its Full Potential and Unleashing A.I. to do More with Less

The future is happening now. Procurement & supply chain organizations still lingering behind can not remain competitive in our constantly changing global landscape. Without knowing how to leverage data to its fullest potential, organizations lose the capability to generate value-based outcomes. AI technologies have become the catalyst to do more with less and finally unleash the power of data.

Accounts Payable and Procurement Trends: What to Consider in 2023

There is no question COVID-19 has impacted many AP finance, Procurement and Shared Services in different ways and in many cases each business has had their own daunting challenges in 2022. But, what is on the horizon for 2023? Leading research and analyst firm Ardent Partners will draw upon their research to provide their take on the biggest trends across the source-to-pay cycle this year, while also walking through their predictions for the next calendar year.

Merchandise Analytics: Helping retailers combat inflationary pressures through data-led insights

Retailers are not only expected to improve margins, but also to protect them. Yet this is not always easy without having the mountains of data delivered in a consumable way. This session on merchandise analytics will explain how retailers can utilize data to make informed decisions to better manage pricing, funding, promotions, and margin by pinpointing opportunities for better decision making across the entire supply chain.

CPO Fireside Chat: Building cross-departmental alignment between finance and procurement

Inflation and supply chain issues are just two reasons that Finance and Procurement alignment is important - now more than ever, but how do you create better cross-departmental relationships for the benefit of the business? This fireside chat will offer solutions based on decades of experience for best practices when developing cross-departmental efficiencies.

Payment and Spend Analytics: How finance and procurement use data analytics to drive insights that enable impactful decision making

Actively managing your Supplier payment terms, discounts, and gap identification (for early/late payments) can be time consuming and complicated, especially when managing data from multiple sources. In this roundtable our Analytics team will highlight technology used to visualize Working Capital optimization opportunities, identify and overcome major pain points when dealing with data from structured and unstructured sources, and share ideas for managing exceptions to established processes.

Cyber Security: Strategies to Combat the Spiderwebs of Theft

Cybercriminals are constantly evolving their operations, the methods they use to breach an organization's defenses and their tactics for monetizing their efforts. Corporate data is valuable to all adversaries. Once they have it, the data can be easily monetized and present increased risk to your organization if other attackers have access to it. In this session, we'll explore how money flows in e-Crime ecosystems, why your data matters, and how we've helped organizations strengthen their defenses against these campaigns.

CPE credits will be offered for approved sessions during the conference. Register your interest for 2023

Creating Value.

PRGXchange brings together S2P leaders from across industries to inspire exciting new ideas and solutions to their most pressing challenges across finance, procurement, and supply chain management. In addition to best-practice guidance from your peers, the event will offer new ways to see your spend and contract data in a whole new light.

PRGXchange 2022

keynote speaker

Billy Beane

Executive Vice President of Baseball Operations for the Oakland A's and the subject of "Moneyball"

Considered one of the most progressive and talented baseball executives in the game today, Billy Beane has molded the Oakland Athletics into one of professional baseball's most consistent winners since taking over as General Manager following the 1997 season.

Beane shattered traditional MLB beliefs that big payrolls equated wins by implementing a statistical methodology that led the Oakland A's, one of the worst teams in baseball with one of the lowest payrolls, to six American League West Division Titles.

That strategic methodology has come to be known as the Moneyball philosophy, named for the bestselling book and Oscar nominated film chronicling Beane's journey from General Manager to hero to celebrated management genius. Most recently, Beane was named the MLB's first- ever Executive of the Year in 2018.
